Railroad and bridge association installs banners
Temporary signs tell part of the history of the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal swing bridge

The Lewes Junction Railroad & Bridge Association recently installed four temporary banners on the preserved railroad swing bridge located at American Legion Road and the rail-to-trail. When the Delaware Department of Transportation completes their work in the canal this fall, a permanent kiosk will be installed in front of the bridge, which will describe the bridge in further detail. To support the association in its mission to preserve and interpret railroad history in Lewes and Sussex County, go to lewesjunctionrr.org.
