Rainbow Fashion Show Luncheon set at UUSD March 24
The Unitarian Universalists of Southern Delaware will host a Rainbow Fashion Show Luncheon at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 24. The show will feature UUSD members modeling the latest spring fashions and accessories from Funky Lady Fashions, a boutique with locations in Rehoboth Beach and Lewes, and Kit’s Karma Creations from Salisbury, Md. A luncheon and desserts will be served. There will be a tricky tray of interesting prizes, and musical entertainment will be provided.
“Our fashion show is unlike any other in the area,” said Kris Acker, UUSD fundraising chair. “We will showcase and celebrate the diversity of our congregation and the local community.”
Sue O’Brien, fashion show coordinator, said, “Our fashion shows are also a lot of fun for our guests, who enjoy watching our models and escorts rock the runway into spring.”
Tickets are $25 and must be purchased in advance. Proceeds will support UUSD's mission to nurture spiritual growth, embrace diversity, work for justice and strive for a loving world. UUSD is a welcoming and progressive spiritual community. The address is 30486 Lewes-Georgetown Highway, Lewes.
