RAL holds opening reception for new exhibits

Rebecca Raubacher stands with her painting titled “The Children” and a sketchbook showing how she builds the final image. In her artist statement Raubacher says, “As a child I believed that if I could draw something, I could own it. Now I feel like the work owns me. The art of drawing has reached in and pulled this work, like a secret from my core, and then delivered it to me, allowing others viewing it to bring their own stories.”
