The Rehoboth Beach Homeowners’ Association board of directors hosted the 22nd annual Rehoboth Beach employee appreciation breakfast Nov. 18 at the convention center.

More than 80 city employees attended the event.

Purple Parrot owner Tyler Townsend worked with RBHA to provide gift certificates to all 123 employees. Once again, Michael and Kelli Meoli, owners of Meoli Companies, donated Egg McMuffins, which were a big hit with the employees.

“City employees form the backbone of our communities, working tirelessly behind the scenes and on the front lines to ensure the smooth functioning of municipal services to homeowners, residents, tourists and local businesses. These dedicated individuals are responsible for everything from maintaining public safety and infrastructure to providing essential services such as sanitation, parks  recreation and public health,” said Patrisha Davis, RBHA treasurer. “Honoring city employees and acknowledging the great work they do all year long is not only a gesture of gratitude, but also an investment in the spirit of our coastal community.”
