Red, White and Blue on the Beach
A rite of the holidays for the Rehoboth Beach Patrol, flags are flown on the guards’ stands and, at the end of the holiday - in this case Memorial Day - a guard from the northernmost stand and another from the southernmost stand run to the next beach, where the guards fall in and follow suit.
Two convoys then head toward the main beach from either direction in a display of patriotism.
