Rehoboth Beach Little Leaguers ready to go

May 3, 2013

Rehoboth Beach Little League kicked off the 2013 season April 27 with a parade down Rehoboth Avenue followed by opening ceremonies at the baseball and softball fields on Holland Glade Road.

Boys and girls of all age groups paraded down Rehoboth's main street tossing candy to family, friends and some unknowing tourists. After returning to the fields, each team was introduced individually, and House Speaker Rep. Pete Schwartzkopf tossed out the ceremonial first pitch.
