Rehoboth Elementary honors local veterans
Rehoboth Elementary School recently honored veterans within its community. As a way to recognize and thank them for their service, veterans in RES families were invited to receive special pins of appreciation.
In addition to honoring parents and guardians, the school paid special tribute to two staff members. School Resource Officer Robert Scisco served in the U.S. Navy, and teacher Brittnee Rohls served in the U.S. Air Force. They were celebrated for their dedication to their country and to the school community, and each was given a coffee mug as a small token of appreciation.
The gestures served as a meaningful reminder of the sacrifices made by veterans and offered students an opportunity to express gratitude to the heroes within their own school family.
