Rehoboth Farmers Market opens for 13th season

May 14, 2019

The Rehoboth Beach Farmers Market opened for the 13th season Tuesday, May 7, in Grove Park. About 35 vendors lined the tree-covered path to serve locally produced items. To help reduce its carbon footprint, market vendors this year are using paper bags instead of plastic.

Rehoboth Beach Farmers Market insulated cloth bags are sold at the information tent, along with items such as dish towels, hats, and cutting boards. These sales help with the cost of maintaining the market tents.

Hours in May, September, and October are from 11 a.m. to  2 p.m., and hours in June, July, and August are from 11 a.m. to  3 p.m. For more information go to www.rbfarmersmarket.com or find their Facebook page.
