Rehoboth recycling schedule sticks

October 3, 2011

Rehoboth Beach officials want to get residents' attention on the city's recycling dates.

City officials are sending out magnets showing the summer and fall recycling schedules. The magnets are also available at Rehoboth Beach City Hall and show the city's recycling and yard waste collection schedules and detail what materials can be recycled.

City Manager Greg Ferrese said the magnets are designed to be put on refrigerators and should be especially helpful for customers who rent out their houses.

Beginning Friday, Oct. 7, First State Disposal will move to its fall recycling schedule, with collections on the first, third and fifth Friday of every month. The fall schedule runs through April.

For more information, call Barbara Bunting at city hall, 302-227-4641.
