Denny Aylor, right, pins a Purple Heart on his friend, Bayard Horn of Rehoboth Beach. Looking on his Horn's daughter, Bonnie Lepson. Horn, 90, was wounded in 1944 and spent the final year of the war in a German POW camp. Aylor said it took years to find lost records to verify that Horn was wounded in action. U.S. Rep. John Carney's office assisted in assuring that the medal was awarded.
