Revelation hosts first Hops and Crops farmers market

Brewery site brings together variety of vendors
May 8, 2024

Revelation Craft Brewing Company hosted the first Hops and Crops farmers market at its Georgetown brewery May 1.

A partnership between Revelation and the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce, the market has taken over the name of the former Georgetown Farmers Market and brought together vendors of all stripes: crafts, oysters, baked goods and produce, and after perusing the stands, a customer can always go for a Revelation beer.

For the first market, there were also furry friends on-hand. Volunteers for Brandywine Valley SPCA had dogs ready for adoption.

Hops and Crops will run every Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m., at Revelation Georgetown, 413 S. Bedford St. The market will run through Sept. 25.
