Richard T. Sockriter, owned R. Sockriter Plumbing

Richard T. Sockriter, 53, of Milton passed away at home Wednesday, March 13, 2019.

Richard was born in Milford, son of Raymond T. Sockriter Sr. of Milton, and the late Thadda Marie (Webb) Sockriter.

Richard was a graduate of Cape Henlopen High School and owned and operated R. Sockriter Plumbing in Milton for many years.  Richard enjoyed collecting coins, and he loved animals and wildlife.  He also especially enjoyed working with his hands as a tradesman and handyman.  

In addition to his father, Richard is survived by his daughter, Brieanna Sockriter; and four siblings, Raymond T. Sockriter Jr., Brenda Sehn, Wayne Sockriter and James Sockriter; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A memorial service will be held privately.

Memorial contributions are welcome in Richard’s memory to an animal rescue of your choice.
