Incumbents Tim Ritzert and Joe Elder will return to Lewes City Council, after taking the top two spots in the May 9 municipal election.
Both will serve new three-year terms.
Lewes Planning Commission Vice Chair Kevin Keane finished third.
The totals are:
Ritzert – 460
Elder – 427
Keane – 392.
"I congratulate the winners and wish them all the best," Keane said shortly after the results were released. Keane said he expects to continue serving on the LPC.
The election was the city's first municipal election since 2022. Mayor Amy Marasco and all four council members either ran unopposed or were appointed to their seats.
The final tallies from the May 9 balloting:
Total in-person votes – 632
Total absentee ballots – 116
Total ballots cast – 748.
Ritzert and Elder will be sworn in at a special meeting of mayor and city council Tuesday, May 19 at city hall.
