Robert 'Bob' Justice, Lewes resident
Robert “Bob” Justice, 70, of Lewes, formerly of Elmer and Bridgeport, N.J., died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at home with the love of his life and caregiver by his side after a long battle with Alpha-1.
Bob was preceded in death by parents, Mary Compagna Justice and William R. Justice; his aunt and uncle who raised him, Elmer and Hazel Hahl of Bridgeport; and a brother, William Justice of Joplin, Mo.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Lillian “Robinson” Cheeseman; his children, Robert Cheeseman and his wife Daysi of Lehigh Acres, Fla., Michael Cheeseman of Sanford, N.C., Stephanie Adkins of Hope Creek, N.J. and Randy Justice of Selmer, Tenn.; six granddaughters; one grandson on the way; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Anna Mason of Elmer, Lucy Campbell and her husband Fred of Malaga, N.J., and Terry Clouse and her husband Sam of Vineland, N.J.; several nieces and nephews, especially “The Brat.”
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 17, at 2 p.m., at First Baptist Church, 209 Broad St., Elmer. Pastor Richard B. Jones will officiate.
