Robert C. Braun Jr., loved motorcycles, fast cars
Robert “Bob” C. Braun Jr., 57, of Milton, passed away unexpectedly at home Monday, Sept. 11, 2023.
Bob was born in York, Pa., and graduated from the electronics program at York Vocational Technical School. He had a career in the construction industry both on his own for 20 years with RC Braun General Contractor, and later with Lockwood Design and Construction as a project manager.
Bob loved riding motorcycles and driving fast cars, especially a 5.0 Mustang. He loved the outdoors and being on the water. He was a jack of all trades and knew how to fix just about anything. He had a personality bigger than life, always having a smile on his face. His sense of humor and laughter will be greatly missed.
He is survived by a son, Robert “Bobby” C. Braun III and wife Hannah; parents, Robert C. Braun Sr. and Janice (Barshinger) Braun; four sisters, Cathy Holloway and husband Bob, Mindy Hildebrand and husband Ross, Lisa Einsig and husband Bob, Jeane Ludwicki and husband Jay; his wife, Melissa (Layton) Braun; stepdaughter, Mikala Warner, husband Michael, and their children, Mayleigh and Dakota Warner; nieces and nephews, Bobbie Warner and husband Jason, Eric Rolkowski and wife Ashlee, Megan Godfrey, Matt Einsig, Mitch Einsig, and Sarah Cohen and Joshua Cohen; numerous great-nieces, -nephews and extended family; and his beloved German shepherd, Shelby.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from noon to 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 23, at Short Funeral Services chapel, 416 Federal St., Milton. A celebration of life will follow from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., at the Beck residence.
