Robert L. Henning Jr., Vietnam veteran

Robert “Bob” L. Henning Jr., 75, of Millsboro, formerly of Bath, Pa., passed away Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022, at his home. 

Bob was born Jan. 27, 1947, in Bath, son of the late Robert L. Henning Sr. and the late Mable (Heffintrayer) Henning.

He proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed at Keystone Cement Company in Pennsylvania for 25 years. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing. Bob and his wife Karen (Witkowski) Henning relocated to Millsboro 15 years ago.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Michelle Oliver; brothers: Warren, Paul, and Harold; and his sister, Betty Jacoby. 

He is survived by his wife; three sons: Jeff, Mike, and Jason Henning; and a sister, Jean Ruch. He is also survived by three grandchildren: Bradshaw Henning, Sami Jo Henning, and Sabrinna Oliver.
