Robin Palumbo Thompson of Gallo Realty forms new sales team

Realtors with a Purpose group serves clients and community
May 28, 2021

Robin Palumbo Thompson, a local Realtor and resident of Sussex County for over 35 years, has formed a new sales team with three of her colleagues.

The Robin Thompson Team serves buyers and sellers throughout Sussex County.

Along with Thompson, the team consists of April Green-Kastor, Stacie Whaley and Angela Palumbo Hastings.

In addition to providing real estate services, the team is focused on serving the community, both financially and through volunteerism, and lives by the tagline, Realtors with a Purpose.

The team works out of the Lewes office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Gallo Realty.

Thompson has been a licensed Realtor for over 22 years, assisting sellers and buyers in the Sussex County area. She was named to her company’s President Circle in 2020, which recognizes sales associates in the top 6 percent of over 50,000 agents in the national franchise network. She also was the 2020 Community Service Award recipient for the local office.

She resides in Rehoboth Beach with her husband Tommy, and two sons, Reed and Britt.

“I have had the privilege of working with hundreds of the best clients. I pride myself on providing my clients with the best service I can offer, whether it is working with sellers to get the most money in the quickest time or finding the perfect property for buyers in this most competitive market,” said Thompson. In her personal time, she can be found watching her boys play at a baseball field or sitting on the beach relaxing.

April Green-Kastor is a buyer’s agent who has been living in Lewes for the past six years with her husband Bryan and four children, Macie, Sam, Cole and Audreigh.

Green-Kastor began her real estate career at the age of 19 as an assistant for a top producer in Maryland. She quickly learned the business and eventually got her license. She transitioned to banking and worked in the mortgage industry beginning in 2006. She also spent some time as a full-time, stay-at-home mom.

“Our boys became friends and I mentioned I wanted to put a team of agents together. I encouraged her to get her license again, and she has,” said Thompson. “April is an experienced agent that brings her knowledge of banking and real estate, knows all aspects of the business and is an asset to our team.”

When she isn’t working, Green-Kastor can be found at a baseball field or at a gymnastic competition. She is licensed in Delaware and Maryland.

Stacie Whaley, also a buyer’s agent, is a Sussex County native living in Laurel with her husband Larry and three children, Dakota, Makenli and Luke. Whaley recently became licensed in real estate after a long career in physical therapy.

“She has always dreamed of becoming a real estate agent and has fulfilled that dream. She has a servant heart and continues to help others when buying, selling or investing in real estate, or in the many different ministerial positions she has held over the years within her church. She brings a wealth of knowledge about the ever-growing area, and can assist buyers and sellers in eastern Sussex County near the beach or along the western part of the county near acres of beautiful farmland,” said Thompson.

Away from work, Whaley spends time with her family at the beach in Fenwick Island or Assateague Island.

Angela Palumbo Hastings, an assistant on the Robin Thompson Team, resides in Middletown with her husband Allen and two daughters, Elaine and Lucy.

“She is service-minded as well, often spearheading an Adopt-a-Family during the Christmas season or donating time to her daughter’s school during fundraisers and a perfect addition to the team,” said Thompson. When not working, Hastings can be found with her family at one of the local surf-fishing beaches.

“We are Realtors with a Purpose,” said Thompson. “We are friends and co-workers with a vision and purpose to provide top-notch service to our clients, and to give back to the communities in which we live by donating both our time and money to organizations that matter to us. When you partner with the Robin Thompson Team to buy, sell, or invest in real estate, know that you are giving back to our community and making a difference for the people that live here.”
