Room at Cedar Grove to host Blake Christiana and Paul Cullen Sept. 13

Singer-songwriter Blake Christiana, the frontman for Grammy-nominated Yarn, will join local musician Paul Cullen for a performance from 6:30 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 13, at The Room at Cedar Grove in Lewes.

The concert includes a multi-course wine dinner. Funds from the event will benefit Paul Kares, a nonprofit supporting aspiring musicians and culinary professionals.

Cullen, who created The Room at Cedar Grove, is co-founder of the nonprofit charity, which is currently accepting grant applications.

Yarn, which has been on the Grammy ballot four times, is known for its ability to spin stories on the stage, and Christiana will talk about the inspiration behind his music.

“We’re going to be ‘unplugged and uncorked,’” said Cullen, referring to the acoustic sets and the featured wines. “It will be a relaxed yet extraordinary evening with an amazing guitarist – I have so much respect for Blake. I can’t wait to play with him.”
