Ruff Life artist creates Rehoboth Dreamin’ dog portraits

As an artist and owner of the Ruff Life, pet lover Sara England has experienced firsthand the ‘ruff’ times since the onset of COVID-19.

As a way of bringing to mind more happy times, England created a new design, Rehoboth Dreamin’, depicting pets amid the scenes of Rehoboth Beach.

England can create a portrait of any customer’s dog and show it sitting on the Boardwalk with Dolle’s in the background.

“I sit in my studio busy creating art and once in a while I’ll hear distant cheers. I think to myself, ‘There goes Joe.’ I hope he knows his art is ready and that I have curbside pickup,” said England.

England and her whimsical art can be found at 46 Baltimore Ave. in Rehoboth Beach. Visitors are reminded to wear a mask and stay pawsitive.
