Running 19 miles to raise money for COVID-19 relief

Lewes woman to donate all proceeds
May 1, 2020

Jeanne Knowles has never surpassed 14 miles in any given run, but May 2 she will attempt to tackle 19 miles to raise money for COVID-19 relief.

“Right now, I am fortunate to have healthy lungs that allows me to go for a run, a luxury that many of those fighting this virus don’t have,” said Knowles, who is an occupational therapist at Pivot’s Savannah Road office.

All money raised will go to healthcare workers and facilities for personal protective equipment, meals and anything else they may need during this unprecedented time. Money will also go to anyone in need of supplies, whether masks, toilet paper or food.
