The Ninth Annual Sussex County Safe Kids Day was held June 25 in the parking lot at Lowe’s in Lewes. Local first responders, health providers and other vendors were on hand to promote safety with children and their families. Children had the opportunity to board a helicopter, ride a pony and talk with many of the first responders at the event.
