Sand Dollar private cruise boat celebrates ribbon cutting

The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce welcomed The Sand Dollar to the chamber with a ribbon cutting June 8.
Owned and operated by U.S. Coast Guard-licensed captains Harry Caswell and Donald Tollett, The Sand Dollar is the premier private cruise boat in Rehoboth Bay. It offers daily sunset cruises and ecotours the last Friday of each month and can be booked for private events and weddings.
Visitors may pack a lunch and come aboard for an ecological tour across Rehoboth Bay to the island of Lynch Thicket. Visitors may explore the island, pick up shells with the kids and enjoy a picnic on the beach before cruising back to the mainland. The day ends at the beach with a calm, relaxing sunset cruise on Lewes-Rehoboth Canal. The boat will sail past nature scenes, waterfront restaurants, drawbridges, marinas and multimillion-dollar beach homes.
Reservations are recommended. To book a cruise or for more information on The Sand Dollar Dewey Beach call 302-858-7030 or email thesanddollar@live.com.
