Sarah Cameron Marshall, accomplished interior designer

Sarah Cameron “Cammie” Marshall, 77, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2026, at Fleet Landing in Atlantic Beach, Fla.

Born in Lewes Dec. 3, 1948, Cammie was the youngest of three children of the late Joseph Lank Marshall and Virginia Deputy Marshall. Cammie spent most of her life in the Washington, D.C. area, where she was an accomplished interior designer and devoted mother to her two children and grandmother to her four grandchildren. Cammie was an avid tennis player and animal lover, and she cherished her time with family and friends.

Cammie is survived by her children, Matthew Gibbon Morris, wife McNevin, and children Gibb and Gus of Silver Spring, Md., and Sarah Morris Hummer, husband Matthew, and children Leigh and Kathryn of Atlantic Beach, Fla. She is also survived by her two brothers and their spouses, Ronald Joseph Marshall and wife Dolores of Lewes, Delaware, and Douglas Deputy Marshall, Esq. and wife Deborah, of Atlantic Beach.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 14, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Lewes.  

In lieu of flowers, send memorial contributions to Johns Hopkins Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center or The Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement.
