I am proud to support my friend and neighbor Mark Saunders in the upcoming election for Rehoboth Beach Board of Commissioners. Shortly after moving into our home 11 years ago, my husband and I met Mark, and we quickly became good friends. I can say with assurance that Mark has the experience to do the job and that he has knowledge of the city that comes from actively participating in governance. He attends city commissioner meetings, he has participated on various committees and presently serves on the Rehoboth Beach Board of Adjustment. In the recent past, he served as a board member and then as president of the Rehoboth Beach Homeowners’ Association.
Mark clearly loves Rehoboth Beach, and he has been actively involved in it. What makes him stand out as an excellent candidate for the commission, however, is that he has the passion, intelligence and integrity to guide our city during these changing times. His genuine and energetic spirit is just what we need and should want in someone who agrees to serve on the board of commissioners. He will truly attempt to meet the needs of residents, businesses and visitors because that is just the kind of man he is. A vote for Mark Saunders is a vote for someone who has the heart, soul and brain of someone who wants Rehoboth Beach to be a town we can all be proud to call home.
