Shannon Owens joins Moore & Rutt law firm

Moore & Rutt, P.A., a law firm with Georgetown and Milford offices, has announced that Shannon R. Owens, Esq., a native of Georgetown, has joined the firm. Moore & Rutt, P.A. now has five attorneys.

Owens is a 1995 graduate of Sussex Central High School, received her bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware in 1999 and her law degree from Widener University School of Law in 2003. She has practiced in Sussex County since joining the Delaware Bar in 2003. She has lectured on various topics, including estate planning and elder law.

“We are very excited to have Shannon join our firm. She has an excellent reputation in the legal community and is known for her hard work and expertise in elder law and real estate. It is a special honor for me,” said J. Everett Moore Jr., “because her father, Jack F. Owens [for whom the local campus of Delaware Technical and Community College is named] was a mentor of mine.”
