Singing Soldiers to perform annual concert Sept. 17

September 14, 2022

All Saints' Church in Rehoboth Beach will again host the Singing Soldiers for a concert at 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 17, in the historic church at 18 Olive Ave. in downtown Rehoboth Beach.

The performers will include retired members of the U.S. Army Chorus. The program will include both patriotic and secular songs, and is conducted by Robert McDonald with piano accompaniment by Anthony Nalker, both retired members of the U.S. Army Chorus.

This has been an annual offering and partnership between the church and the chorus, and it was preempted for the past two years by the pandemic. This program is made possible by the generosity of the Lingo Fund, which is named in memory of longtime parishioners Col. Jack Lingo and Peggy Lingo, both of whom are now deceased. The Lingos were supporters and benefactors of this event. The Lingo family continues their philanthropy by generously supporting the chorus and the music program at the Episcopal Parish of All Saints' Church and St. George's Chapel. This event is free and open to the general public.
