Smyk has the experience to be senator

October 28, 2022

The Nov. 8 election for Delaware’s 6th Senate District is around the corner. Steve Smyk is a clear choice, as he has a decade of legislative experience as a member of the Delaware House of Representatives. Steve has dedicated his life to public service, as he served in the Delaware Army National Guard, worked for the Delaware State Police, and became president of the Delaware State Troopers Association. Steve has served his community his whole life; experience is the best teacher.

Steve’s record as a legislator shows that he will advocate for better infrastructure to improve development, support our first responders, provide excellent constituent services, advocate for quality healthcare, support the right to bear arms and enforce limited government. Steve Smyk has experience serving on various committees, which include house corrections, energy, veterans, public safety, and judicial committees.

When I reached out to various members of the Delaware Legislature belonging to both political parties in 2020, Steve was the only one who answered and listened to my concerns. I am confident Steve will do the same for you in the 6th District of Delaware.
