Spooky evening in Dewey Beach set for Oct. 28

Trick-or-treating, haunted graveyard to highlight business partnership annual event
October 20, 2022

Ghosts, zombies, princesses and superheroes are set to roam the streets of Dewey Beach Friday, Oct. 28.

Sponsored by the Dewey Business Partnership as part of the Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce Sea Witch Festival, the event kicks off with trick-or-treating at businesses along Coastal Highway from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

And then, if they dare, all are invited to the creepy graveyard, haunted circus tent, bonfire and kids’ DJ dance party on the bay beach on Dickinson Avenue between the Rusty Rudder and the Lighthouse from 7 to 9 p.m. Enjoy ghost stories with reduced-cost food and refreshments.

Parking is free in town, and the event is free, but cash donations will be accepted at the entrance to the creepy graveyard.

The Dewey Business Partnership hosts the Egg Scoop, Arts Festival, Kids Running of the Bull and other family-friendly events. For more information, go to deweybusinesspartnership.com or facebook.com/DeweyBusinessPartnership.
