Support local eateries in honor of 302 Day for chances to win

Drawing to be held March 2
February 22, 2021

For the last three years, Delawareans have celebrated 302 Day on March 2, which falls on a Tuesday this year.

This day to celebrate all things Delaware was the brainchild of KAM Productions, creators of the 302 Horseshoe Crab design. This year more than ever, it’s important to celebrate the strength and resilience of the 302, and KAM Productions encourages everyone to grab a meal, take a picture and possibly walk away with a basket of state-made items, all in honor of 302 Day.

From Friday to Sunday, Feb. 26 to 28, members of the community are encouraged to eat in or take out from a local restaurant, brewery, bakery, coffee shop – any Delaware eatery – and post a picture with the hashtag #302as1.

A live drawing will be held at 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 2, on the 302 Horseshoe Crab Facebook page and Instagram page. People can enter as many times as they wish during the weekend. Five winners will be selected to receive goodie baskets with at least $100 in merchandise and gift cards donated by local businesses.

KAM Productions has donated more than $7,000 to local nonprofits from past 302 Day events. Organizers hope this year’s event will provide a much-needed boost to local businesses while still remaining safe.

Local businesses that wish to participate with donations for the prize baskets can contact KAM Productions through its website kamproductions.com or social media. All contributions will be mentioned in frequent updates on social feeds, as well as during the weekend before the drawing.

Support shows love for the 302 and all the small businesses that make Delaware so special. For more information, go to kamproductions.com.
