Sussex Consortium and Little Vikings celebrate fall spirit week

The Sussex Consortium was bursting with autumn excitement as students and staff recently celebrated fall spirit week and the annual fall festival.

Throughout the week, classrooms were filled with laughter and creativity as students dressed up for themed days that included cozy flannel shirts, comfy pajama day and a favorite book character costume day that brought storybook adventures to life.

Teachers incorporated the spirit of the season into lessons and activities, encouraging students to express themselves through art, reading and imaginative play. The enthusiasm built up to Friday’s highly anticipated fall festival, where families joined in for a day of seasonal fun. Students participated in a variety of activities including pumpkin bowling, scarecrow making, face painting and festive hayrides around the school grounds.

The day’s biggest treat came when Hopkins Farm Creamery’s ice cream truck made a surprise visit, bringing smiles (and sprinkles!) to everyone. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for families, teachers and students to come together and celebrate community spirit.
