Sussex DeTerminators compete in statewide bowling tournament

The event, held Dec. 8 at Brunswick Doverama in Dover, was one of eight held throughout Delaware the week of Dec. 3-8. The events involved more than 1,500 athletes. Berg and Wells, who reside in Lewes, teamed up to capture fourth place in the Traditional Doubles division.

“Bowling is one of our most popular sports,” says Gary Cimaglia, SODE senior director of sports. “One of the neatest things about our athletes participating in bowling is that they can then transfer what they learn when they have opportunities to bowl with friends and family, which is a very popular thing to do over the upcoming holidays.”
