Sussex Tech baseball team sets golf tournament fundraiser Nov. 5

The Sussex Technical High School baseball team will host its fifth annual golf tournament at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 5, at Heritage Shores, One Heritage Shores Circle, Bridgeville.

The registration fee for the 18-hole tournament is $115 per person or $420 per foursome and includes a cart, practice/range balls, barbecue lunch and door prizes. Awards are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. at Jeff’s Taproom and Grille, 416 Market St., Bridgeville.

Funds raised from this event are used for new equipment and/or uniform purchases, team apparel, field renovations and more. The team has also used funds from this event to support special community causes like the Officer Heacook Foundation and Fight Like 4 Fund.
