Thomas Lee Price Sr., Westinghouse retiree

Thomas Lee Price Sr., of Lewes, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 14, 2015, with his family by his side.

Thomas was born in Waynesboro, Va., Sept. 19, 1935, to the late Hensel and Bessie (Willis) Price. He was raised in Chester, Pa., and previously resided in Aston, Pa. before moving to Lewes.

Thomas was a Marine, serving on the USS Missouri during the Korean War. He worked at Westinghouse for 20 years, retiring in 1986. Thomas enjoyed his garden, fishing and crabbing, but mostly enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren, and the Detroit Lions.

Thomas was preceded in death by a grandson, Roger Searfass; and his sisters, Charlene Gretsky, Viola Fuller and Mary Alice Riberio.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years: Carole (Bozman) Price; sons: Roger Searfass (Cindy) of Middletown, Dean Searfass of Glen Mills, Pa. and Thomas Price Jr. of Lewes; daughters: Charlene Price of Glen Mills and Vicky Redden (Ira) of Parkside, Pa.; a sister: Anne Neid of Chester;  six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 18, from 8:30 to10:15 a.m., at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston. Funeral service will follow at 10:30 am at at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood.
