Tickets on sale for country star Jimmie Allen’s Harrington concert Feb. 9
The Entertainment Department at Harrington Raceway and Casino announced that rising country star Jimmie Allen is scheduled to perform at the Exhibit Hall at 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 9, as part of the Live On Stage series lineup.
For Allen, a breakthrough country artist, a simple phrase sums up his view on life and music: Never give up. A native of Southern Delaware, Allen knows what it’s like to start at the bottom in an industry where only the strong, talented and lucky survive. Whether it was living out of his car after his move to Nashville in 2007 or knocking on every door he could to get that lucky break, Allen always kept to his musical dreams and love of true-to-themselves artists such as Alan Jackson, Aaron Tippon, Montgomery Gentry and Jason Aldean.
His recent tour opening for country superstar Toby Keith has brought Allen to the forefront of country fans and earned him a spot on the Ones to Watch list in country music. His song “Best Shot” is climbing the Billboard Top 20 list and cementing Allen as a new star in country music.
