Tulip Festival photography contest winners announced
The 2nd Annual Lewes Tulip Festival Photography contest received 93 entrants in each of six subject categories: Tulip, Lewes Architecture, Quintessential Lewes (iconic Lewes image), Local Food, Altered Reality (manipulated) and Lewes Landscape, and two age groups, adult and 17 and under.
The entries were judged by three professional photographers who are also members of the Lewes Chamber of Commerce: Dave Koster, Ginny Stominksi and Carolyn Watson.
The chamber is one of six organizations that are sponsoring the festival, which takes place Friday and Saturday, April 15 and 16. The others are the Lewes Historical Society, Lewes in Bloom, City of Lewes Parks & Recreation Commission, Historic Lewes Farmers Market and the Zwaanendael Museum.
All 93 entries will be exhibited in a tent in Zwaanendael Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., both days of the festival. For more information on the Tulip Festival contact the Lewes Chamber of Commerce at 302-645-8073.
