Vote for Edward and Charlie Aug. 10

August 6, 2019

We feel compelled to submit this letter to urge our fellow Rehoboth Beach citizens to vote for Edward Chrzanowski and Charlie Garlow for commissioner Aug. 10.

The bottom line is this:  Do we want commissioners who are positive, forward-thinking, independent leaders, who respect our community and neighbors and are collaborative problem solvers - or do we want to continue the negative discourse that other candidates and their supporters are voicing?

If you read the letters in support of Edward and Charlie, you will hear about how Edward led Main Street to help beautify the city, and expanded the group to include both businesses and residents. You will read about how Charlie has led complex policy development efforts, bringing together disparate groups to establish energy and environmental initiatives that support the future of communities like Rehoboth Beach.

If you read other candidate letters, you will hear about candidates who are suing neighbors over a tree, resulting in thousands of dollars of legal fees for the city while creating hostility among our community.

You will read about others who are running because they are concerned with a single personal issue in their backyard, rather than caring about what is good for our community overall.  And many of these letters attack our neighbors who are not even running for public office, with inaccurate information, simply because these neighbors voiced fact-based opinions regarding the behavior of some running for commissioner.

Please join us in supporting positive, action-oriented leaders who have run campaigns that are about fresh, independent ideas that will lead to a better future for our town – vote for Edward Chrzanowski and Charlie Garlow Aug. 10.
