Watercolor society names exhibition award winners
The Peninsula Gallery hosted the Delaware Watercolor Society for a September exhibition titled Sunrise, Sunset.
DWS President Marjorie Wuestner presented awards to winning artists.
Christine Heyse received the first-place award for her painting “Kitchen Sink.” Isabel Pizzolato garnered the second-place award for “Sunset Palm” and Joan Judge earned the third-place award for “Summer Storm in the Harbor.”
Artists honored with merit awards were Anne Crown Cyr, Doris Ingram and Charlotte Hughes.
The Delaware Watercolor Society society members thank the Peninsula Gallery for the opportunity to display their artwork in a distinguished setting. Thanks also go to Steve and Wendy Leddy for sponsorship of the first-place award, and to society volunteers Joan Fabbri, Marjorie Wuestner, Pat Hoey and Charlotte Hughes, who coordinated the show with the gallery team.
