Weather forces delays, cancellations

• Cape Community Day, set for 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, at Jefferson Apartments in Lewes, has been canceled.

• The final concert of the Lewes Summer Concert Series in Stango Park has been canceled. No alternate location or rain date has been scheduled. 

• Delaware Office of Highway Safety will reschedule the heatstroke prevention program slated for 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20 at Georgetown DMV. More information will be shared when it is available.

• The bonfire on the beach in Dewey, scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 20, has been canceled.
