Welcome Home Concierge and Home Watch Services earns accreditation

Welcome Home Concierge & Home Watch Services has earned Accredited Member status from the National Home Watch Association. The NHWA was formed in 2009 in order to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for Home Watch and absentee homeowner services throughout the United States and Canada. Home Watch is a service that keeps an eye on things at clients’ vacation or primary home while they are not in residence.

Owner Herb Heinrichs Jr. is the third generation of his family to build homes and the first to attend college as a business major. He studied at Palm Beach Atlantic University while working at a large bank, where he was a budget analyst and later became assistant vice president of corporate properties and facility management. In 2003, Heinrichs left his corporate job, resettled his family to the Delaware coastal area and, with his father, formed Anchor Enterprises Inc., a full-service custom home builder, remodeler and trim specialist.

With more than 35 years of experience in the construction industry, 18 of which were in property management and home watch services, Heinrichs decided to launch Welcome Home Concierge & Home Watch Services. His relationship with his clients from his homebuilding and remodeling company continued past the completion of their building projects. Because of his dependability and work ethic, clients came to rely on him to be that extra set of eyes on their vacation beach home while they were away. Heinichs recognized that need and wanted to further help and service his clients. He now does so through Welcome Home.

Welcome Home professionals work to safeguard second homes and vacation properties along the Delaware coast while clients are away and prepare the properties for clients’ arrival when they visit the beach. The mission of Welcome Home is to ensure the clients’ peace of mind when they are absent and a hassle-free vacation when they arrive.
