West Marine reopens in new location
West Marine has reopened after relocating from Pelican Square on Route 1 to Rehoboth Mall next to Walmart.
The new store opened May 24, but an official grand opening ceremony will be held Saturday, June 29.
Spokeswoman Renee Harvey said the move allowed West Marine to better serve customers with a wider selection and better shopping experience.
Store Manager Don May said, “We are extremely excited for the new and improved Rehoboth West Marine location.The new store is nearly double the size of our old location and will provide our customers with more core boating product offerings and an even greater selection of fishing gear, allowing us to better outfit, educate and inspire boaters of all ages.”
The new store is 8,400 square feet, and besides boating and fishing gear, it also carries shoes, boots and electronics.
