White’s Chapel hosts Fall Festival

October 16, 2022

White’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Milton hosted its Fall Festival Oct. 8 in an effort to welcome the fall season and bring people back to the historic, 184-year-old church on Route 1 across from Hudson Fields.

Pastor Lee Parks said the church hasn’t been able to host events since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

“It’s a small church, so we wanted to get the community to see we’re still here,” she said.

The festival included pumpkin decorating, face painting, games, a clown show by Jubilee the Clown and a magic show by Jack Noel.

Parks said the festival was the first event the church is hoping to do this year, with the next being a homecoming celebration Sunday, Oct. 30.
