William 'Bill' Newnam, medical salesman
William (Bill) Edward Newnam, 59, of Milford, passed Saturday, June 4, 2016, after losing his battle to cancer.
He had a successful career in medical sales and was grateful to the mentoring he received and friendships he made in his professional life. Bill had an incredible zest for life; he was playful, sincere and kind. He had a strong moral compass. Bill will be remembered as a man devoted to his family and friends. His remarkable gift was his ability to make anyone he met feel special, and to bring laughter and joy into everyone's life. He had a passion for sailing, music, scuba diving and traveling the world making new friends.
Bill is preceded in death by his best friend and father, Frank Newnam Sr. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife Joyce; daughter, Rachel Church (Hunter); grandson Liam of Durham, N.C.; his mother, Helen Newnam Hannan (Tom); brother Frank (Yvette) of Los Angeles, Calif.; sister Cherie Bischoff (Bruce) of Toledo, Ohio; nieces, Erin, Meredith, Lindsay and Gabrielle; nephew Stephen; plus four grand-nieces and three grand-nephews.
A memorial Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, June 14, at 11 a.m., at Immanuel Episcopal Church on the Green, 50 Market St., New Castle.
