Over the holiday break, Dec. 26-30, Worcester Prep’s varsity boys’ basketball team participated in the Salisbury Governor’s Challenge High School Basketball Tournament, hosted by Wicomico County Recreation, Parks & Tourism. The Governor’s Challenge hosts 100 teams from around the region, including Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina and the District of Columbia. It is the largest holiday tournament on the East Coast and the second largest in the country.
