Youth group to hold climate change demonstration March 25

Fridays for Future Delaware will hold a demonstration from 4 to 5 p.m., Friday, March 25, on The Circle in Georgetown to urge local, state and federal governments to act now to change the trajectory of global warming. The event will feature student speakers, as well as local and state officials. 

Fridays for Future Delaware is part of a global movement of high school and college students inspired by Greta Thunberg. Jack Thompson, president of Fridays for Future Delaware, hopes the rally will be a multigenerational event and invites the public to attend.
