Grisly ghouls marched their way down Union Street in Milton Oct. 20 as Milton’s annual Zombie Fest rolled through downtown.
The event nearly doubled attendance from last year, as 4,588 people paid for tickets, according to Milton Theatre spokesman John Paul Lacap. He said the year before, 2,500 attended.
The festival included music, food trucks, a Dogfish Head beer truck, vendors, face-painting and colorful costumes. Among those dressed up were (l-r) Geary Fisher, Cohen McMahon and Sage McMahon.
The highlight of the event was the Zombie Walk, which kicked off around 8:30 p.m. and featured zombies making the trek down Union Street.
