Can you dig it? Mansion Farm Inn offers free rose bushes in Milton!
My curiosity was piqued when I read about Mansion Farm Inn’s estate sale in early October. I rarely ever drive down that portion of Route 16, but took that way to work just so I could see the pretty place in person. I enjoyed exploring the treasures that were for sale inside the property, but was more swayed by the knockout rose bushes at the entrance to the 19th century Victorian house.
A month later, the owners have announced that they’re giving away the 40 rose bushes for free to any gardener who wants to dig them up. As of this morning, there are still plenty left. Check the Mansion Farm Inn Facebook Page before you grab your shovel and gloves and ride out to the historic David Robbins Homestead at 26285 Broadkill Road in Milton, Delaware.

I don't have a green thumb, but that makes me appreciate stalking other people's gardens with my camera even more. I am, however, trying to grow an online flower photo portfolio on Fine Art America.
