PLANT-BASED CHAMPION ON THE GO

My friend Sally is always on the go. She goes birding, she goes swimming, she goes to class, she goes to the movies, she goes to visit her grandchildren and she goes on trips around the world. What keeps Sally going? Everywhere she goes, Sally goes PLANT-BASED! That means she’s getting the best fuel for going long and strong.

Here’s how Sally does it on the go.

When she’s going out to eat, close to home or abroad, she plans ahead to ensure delicious, nutritious meals that avoid meat, dairy and added oil. Sally has learned that many restaurants already have PLANT-BASED options on the menu. If not, chefs relish the opportunity to show off their custom culinary skills.

When she’s eating on the go, she packs PLANT-BASED snacks and even whole meals that are the envy of on-lookers.

I ran into Sally between classes the other day. She was unpacking her portable breakfast. First she took the lid off a bowl filled with dry oats and berries. She then added her flaxseed and grape nuts from pre-measured containers. Next came the almond milk. Even without the micro greens she usually sprinkles on top, this is the breakfast of a true PLANT-BASED CHAMPION!
