Dog park breaks ground at Bayside community

Slated to open in April
March 10, 2016

Carl M. Freeman Companies announced that construction of an amenity-centric dog park is underway at Bayside Fenwick Island. Bayside is on Route 54 at Americana Boulevard. Near the intersection of Mastiff and Sand Cove roads, the nearly 20,000 square feet of space will offer dogs and their owners the chance to enjoy a range of activities and amenities designed just for them. The dog park is slated to open in April.

"We are delighted to introduce another sought-after amenity to the Bayside community," said Chris Garland, senior vice president of development for the Carl M. Freeman Cos. "This is a unique feature that cannot be found in any of the area’s residential communities.”

The half-acre, state-of-the-art dog park is entirely fenced with separate large and small dog play spaces that include benches, trees, play equipment, and shade structures. Bayside Institute, a lifelong learning program, will hold seminars in breed education, training and recreational activities that foster a sense of community and support responsible dog ownership.

Both dogs and their owners will have the opportunity to socialize and enjoy the companionship of others in this new setting. For more information about Bayside, go to www.livebayside.com or call 302-436-9998.
