Ellan M. Marsh, Lewes native

Ellan M. Marsh, 88, of Seminole, Fla., passed away Saturday April 23, 2016. She was born in Lewes, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Estella (Schildknecht) Marshall. She was owner/operator of Shoreline Island Resort Motel along with her husband, William, for over 34 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Edna Dentino and her daughter Victoria Marsh. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, William R. Marsh; a son, Bill Marsh Jr.; a daughter, Kathryn V. Marsh; a brother, Jobe D. (Virginia) Marshall; a grandson, Michael (Lauri) Marsh and a granddaughter, Lindsay (Jonathan) Pendrich.

Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon, Friday, April 29, at Reese Funeral Home, 6767 Seminole Blvd. Seminole. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, and committal will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to www.thehospice.org.
