The Keenote Chorale presented their annual outdoor concert April 8 at the Lincoln Studio. They presented American music of the pioneers and patriots. All singers presented a flag from one of the 50 states. The history of the nation through music, dances and narration started with Neil Diamond's "Coming to America."
The High Kees and Keetoners presented facts about America from the Revolutionary war era, through the War of 1812, Civil War, building of the railroads, discovering the West, immigrants, wars and walking on the moon. The songs reflected history and changes Americans have experienced. The show was followed by a potluck dinner.
